The service is focused on providing through the e-puertobilbao platform a one-stop telematics window that enables users to carry out in a unified, remote way the necessary administrative processing for Entry Summary Declarations of goods in the Customs Territory of the Community, when the Port of Bilbao is the port of entry to the European Union.
Target Group
The service is aimed at Shipping operators and Shipping companies, and opens an access channel for sending ENS directly to Customs: information traffic between both agents is completely transparent.
In principle, the service is preferentially designed for Port of Bilbao customers.
Advantages
The service exploits the advantages of the one-stop electronic window in the broadest sense, inasmuch as it enables sending and management of Entry Summary Declarations (ENS), as soon as information is made available (for example, the departure from last port of loading), without taking into consideration any type of timetable restrictions.
This implies the availability of a one-stop window where both Entry Summary Declarations (ENS) and Summary Declarations for Temporary Storage (DSDT), which serve as Arrival Notification: this means in the near future, information from Entry Summary Declarations can be used to make up, with the inclusion of a minimum set of data, the Summary Declarations for Temporary Storage by taking advantage of the information already in the system.
